Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information LiveSwapFace ("we", "us") handles when you use our website and the real-time face swap studio, why, and who processes it.

Information We Handle

Account and Payments

When you create an account we store your name, email address and sign-in details (including the provider you sign in with, such as Google or GitHub). Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we receive the order status and amount, not your full card details.

Reference Photo and Camera Video

• Choosing a photo and turning on your camera happen in your browser. Nothing is sent before you press Start.
• When you press Start, your reference photo is uploaded to our AI provider for a content check and used for that session, and your camera video is streamed to the AI provider for real-time processing. The AI result is streamed back to your browser.
• We do not record your camera, store the AI video, or keep a gallery of reference photos on our servers.
• Microphone audio is never requested or sent.

Session Records

For billing and abuse prevention we keep session metadata: start and end times, how many seconds of AI video were shown, credits charged and returned, the end reason and technical error codes. These records do not contain images or video.

Website Usage and Cookies

Hosting and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and requested pages. Cookies and browser storage keep you signed in and remember preferences. See our Cookie Policy.

AI Provider and Other Processors

Basic real-time face swap is provided by XMAX (platform.xmax.ai). During a Basic session:

• your reference photo is stored with XMAX's cloud storage provider (Tencent Cloud COS) for the content check and the session;
• your camera video and the AI result travel over XMAX's real-time media network (Volcengine RTC);
• XMAX processes this content under its own terms, which may allow limited use for operating and improving its service. We have not received a guarantee that XMAX will not retain or use this content, and we will update this policy if that changes.

These providers may process data outside your country. Other processors include our hosting, database, email and payment providers, each only for the service it provides.

How We Use Information

We use information to run your account, deliver the face swap service, bill credits accurately, prevent fraud and misuse of the service, provide support and improve reliability.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. Session records are kept as long as needed for billing, disputes and abuse investigations. Reference photos and video are not stored on our servers; retention at the AI provider follows its terms.

Children

LiveSwapFace is not intended for anyone under 18. Do not upload photos of minors.

Your Choices

You can delete your account from the settings page. You can also contact us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.

Pro uses Decart Lucy 2.5. When you start a Pro session, the reference image and camera video are sent to Decart for realtime processing. Decart processes that content under its privacy policy. We do not promise zero retention by the provider.
